Purchase of Investment Fund Units from €250,000
Applicants can invest in Hungarian real estate by purchasing local investment fund units. These funds are exclusively invested in real estate, and the National Bank of Hungary registers the issued investment units. Such investments cannot be redeemed for a minimum of five years following the purchase.
Real Estate Purchase from €500,000 (Available from January 1, 2025)
Applicants may invest directly in real estate through the purchase of residential property. This option requires a higher financial commitment than selecting investment funds, as the property must be worth at least €500,000. According to the sales contract, the property cannot be sold for five years.
Charitable Donation from €1,000,000
Applicants may donate €1,000,000 to a higher education institution that belongs to a public-benefit trust. The donation is aimed at supporting education, scientific research, or artistic activities.
